Grizzly's Tales, by Robert "Grizzly" Grover
Welcome To "Grizzly's Tales"
AFRICA page added 4/27/08
NOTE for past users. All tabs beginning with "New" features the slides that I recently had scanned into digital images. These photos were all taken between 1986 and 2000. The rest of the site, except for the design template and some text on this page, hasn't been altered for several months.
After being followed by a grizzly bear while hiking alone in the wilderness of Alaska's Denali National Park, I was dubbed "Grizzly" Grover by Jim Stamates, a co-worker at McKinley Mercantile. "Grizzly's Tales" is a program of stories, slides, and poems. In the past it was only about Denali Park, but in the interest of performing to a more general audience I am expanding it to become less specific to that one area. This web site will illustrate the different aspects of this expanded program, which I hope will see a few initial performances in the Portland area within the next year or two.
The tabs to the right will take you to story excerpts and photos of the different regions I like to travel to, as well as links and contact information. I welcome and encourage comments, especially regarding ideas for the upcoming improved version of "Grizzly's Tales."
